01 Before & after
One West Asheville living room, five days apart. The slider moves — the furniture didn’t. We mask, cover, and work around your life, not the other way around.

02 What we paint
We’d rather be the best at four things than average at fourteen. Every job gets the same prep-first, no-shortcuts treatment.

How the consult works →03 The Whitlock walkthrough
Every painter promises quality. We put the proof in your hand. On the last day, June gives you the roll of blue tape and the final word.
Go room by room and mark anything you want better — a thin spot, a scuff, a line that could be cleaner. No feeling is too picky.
The crew stays until every piece of tape is off the wall. Most walkthroughs find three. Some find zero.
The bill doesn’t exist until the tape is gone. That’s been the order of operations on every job since 2011.
Final walkthrough — the Hendersons
Thu · 4:12 PM
3 pieces of tape found. 3 down before the van left. (sample card)
Invoice sent Fri · 9:02 AM
June walks the job herself, measures it, and hands you a firm quote before she leaves — not a “starting at” that grows once the ladders show up.

★★★★★
Interior · 4 roomsI watched the crew chief pull the ceiling tape in one long strip and I actually gasped — the line looks laser-printed. They found two thin spots before I did, fixed both, and the invoice matched June’s quote to the dollar.
★★★★★
Exterior · full repaintQuoted in April, painted in May, done in six days — and they tarped every rhododendron like they were wrapping presents. Two years of mountain weather later, the south face still looks like day one.
★★★★★
Cabinet refinishDoors sprayed off-site, rehung in four days, finish smoother than the new dishwasher beside it. Friends assume we did a $40k remodel; it was a fraction of that.
05 Colors
Fourteen years of Asheville living rooms distilled to the colors we keep coming back to. Every job includes a free consult with real brushed-out samples on your walls — under your light, not the store’s.
06 Service area
Small crews, short drives. We stay inside Buncombe County and its edges so a crew is never painting your house between two ninety-minute commutes.
07 Get in touch
No call center, no phone tree. June runs the schedule and answers the phone between walkthroughs. Texting a few photos of the space is the fastest way to a number.
